Save Childhood Movement starts with a Flourish

IMG_1006Last weekend, savechildhood.net hosted its very first ‘Flourish Summit‘  in London, and I was very fortunately able to attend on Saturday.

When time permits, I will write about some of the incredible speakers I heard there, and I understand that there may be videos of their talks available online soon, but for now, it’s worth mentioning that our Campaign for Flexible School Admissions has been added to the Summit’s list of Active Campaigns.

It’s also important to say that National Children’s Day takes place on May 15, 2013 so please do whatever you can to spread the word.

Special thanks go to Wendy Ellyatt, who organised the whole event and has been so supportive of our campaign, and Richard House, who co-founded Early Childhood Action, and gave a special mention to our campaign during his talk at the summit.
Thank you both.

I know what you mean about having time! I was also at the Flourish Summit and have written my first 2 blogs about the event covering day one. They can be found on my blog http://www.pennysplacechildminding.com Hopefully I will find to write about day two soon
